    The artist was previously working on the PlayStation's Uncharted series however, it was for a reason, the fans to create a connection. However, Kozlowsky and Retro Studios were actually working on Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze as well, and when the game was officially unveiled on the market, a lot of Zelda players slammed it as they were expecting something else. In a new interview with The Kiwi Talkz podcast, Kozlowsky explained how the rumor led to discontent for the development team.

    "Sometimes it's frustrating because it creates [false expectations]. I believe that was the case when we first announced Tropical Freeze. Everyone was thinking 'they're working on an Zelda game They're working on an Zelda game,' but nope. We've just announced Tropical Freeze and it looks stunning and beautiful and people then go 'oh but it's another Donkey Kong.'

    And then you know people are going on about it on Neogaf or whatever and you're like 'oh and everyone believed we were playing an Zelda game. But it's no, that's not what we do.' It's both humorous at times. it, but sometimes it becomes frustrating when it kind of gets a more than it should," said Kozlowsky.

    Kozlowsky's comments provide a fascinating perspective on how rumors circulate and how buy d2r items could affect the way a game is received. While Tropical Freeze might not have been the game that many fans had hoped to see announced but it did receive a lot of critical review upon its debut.
